Vibration testing and adjustment

Don't wait till your machine fails! It is cheaper to prevent an accident than to pay for its consequences.

Vibration testing and vibration adjustment services (balancing and centering) offered by JSC "PromServis" are intended for determination of technical condition and elimination of reasons for increased vibration of pumps, compressors, ventilators, auxiliary equipment of turbines, drives of rolling mills, gear units, exhausters, etc. during their normal operation.

List of diagnosable faults usually includes:

  • Shafts imbalance and misalignment of joint shafts;
  • Defects of rolling bearings and sleeve bearings;
  • Defectsin gear transmissions;
  • Looseness of assemblies on basements;
  • Lack of stiffness of a bearing support;
  • Defects and imbalance of couplings;
  • Defects of rotor wheels;
  • Defects of electromagnetic system in electric machines.

Periodicaltesting and inspections allow to predict a state of diagnosed equipment on a certain period, for example, by the next planned preventive repair, to define date of the next inspection, to monitor development of defects in a machine.

Principal feature of vibration testing and inspection, offered by JSC "PromServis", is determination of state of all nodes inmachinesas a unit, i.e. taking into account their influence on each other. This allows not only to detect faults and predict their development, but also to identify their original causes at further analysis.

The system is able to detect faults at initial stage and to trace their development.

Practicingof vibration testing allows to pass frommaintenance "upon failure" or "according to schedule"to maintenance based on actual state of equipment.

This provides significant economic benefits due to:

  • prevention of sudden emergencies (failures) and downtime of equipment;
  • earlier fault detection and timely prevention of defects development;
  • cancellation of routine repairs of operable equipment;
  • proper planningof repair works and accurate calculation of consumables at scheduled maintenance;

  • accurate planning of consumable materials for repair and, as a result, reduction of spare parts stock;
